Amy Edelstein about Evolutionary Enlightenment |
Amy Edelstein is a senior teacher of Evolutionary Enlightenment. She is also an Executive Assistant to Andrew Cohen and a founding member of EnlightenNext. I (Eagle de Botton:) was lucky to be introduced to the teaching of Evolutionary Enlightenment, about 3 years ago. A lot has happened since then, because it was opening for me a door, to the understanding of the... purpose of life. (or simply said; to what life is all about.)
Now, 2012, Andrew Cohen introduces his teaching in a beautiful book, that you would want to read, if you wish to evolve and maintain a position of freedom.

Leaf - medical cannabis |
Leaf introduces Dr. William Courtney and Kristen Courtney of Cannabis International; along with the people involved in researching, promoting, regulating and benefiting from raw cannabis.
Dr. Courtney is a physician and researcher from Mendocino, California, who gives medical marijuana approvals to qualified patients in Mendocino and Humboldt Counties. Kristen Peskuski is a researcher and patient who put her systemic lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, interstitial cystitis, and numerous other conditions into remission juicing fresh cannabis.
They help make sense of the science behind patient's recoveries from a diverse range of medical conditions. Attorneys, physicians, law enforcement, medical care providers, patients and their families discuss their experiences with medical cannabis. They specifically focus on juicing fresh cannabis, which is non-psychoactive and contains medical properties 200-400 times stronger than traditional, heated cannabis.
Patients have reported success with osteo and rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune disorders, cancer and many other conditions using this unique therapy.
Please check out cannabisinternational.org for more information.
Please support Dr. William Courtney at CourtneyforCongress.org so that no one has to be afraid to use the medicine they need.

Clearing the Smoke: The Science of Cannabis |
Clearing the Smoke, reveals how cannabis acts on the brain and in the body to treat nausea, pain, epilepsy and potentially even cancer.
Extensive interviews with patients, doctors, researchers and skeptics detail the promises and the limitations of medicinal cannabis. Even though the video has an American perspective, marijuana use is illegal throughout many countries of the world for reasons that are not clear.
This video is important because it mainly investigates the scientific basis underlying the medical benefits of marijuana use instead of focusing on the social, political and legal hysteria that have been attached to it.
The paper mentioned in this video, Marihuana Reconsidered, was published in book form. The author, Dr Lester Grinspoon, is the world's leading authority on marijuana. In this book, Dr Grinspoon examines — and debunks — many of the common misconceptions about marijuana.

"The Evolution of Response" by Aikido Sensei Miles Kessler |
"The Evolution of Response" by Miles Kessler Sensei, the founder and director of Integral Dojo in Tel Aviv, Israel. An Evolutionary Aikido and Dharma Teacher, and a dear spiritual friend.
Miles spent a few hours in Zurich, on his way from Israel, to teach in Europe.
It was a beautiful spring day, and we took a walk by the lake. I asked Miles to talk a little about Aikido. I had no idea... Aikido is indeed a Martial Art, just as I already knew, but it is also a lot more.
In Aikido, you shift your perspective to where you are actually at one with the other person. Aikido happens in relationship! It is about Awakened Relationship, eventually creating an awake and aware system. A system with its own intelligence. It is like awakened inspired musical jam session, creating an inter subjective space...
Integral Dojo Tel Aviv;

Integrate and embrace - Sensei Miles Kessler. |
Aikido Sensei, Miles Kessler, is a Dharma Teacher, and the director of the Integral Dojo, Tel-Aviv. Miles is also a good spiritual friend. On his latest teaching tour, he visited Zurich, and I was lucky to enjoy a short walk with him, on a sunny afternoon...
We were talking about life, evolution, the future, spiritual practice, music, and of course Aikido. Someone happened to have had an awakenedTV video camera... :) I will share it all!
This video clip is an excerpt of our conversation. Miles explain the need to integrate levels of development. Not only accept but embrace and integrate. As an example he ask me to tell him about my feeling when going to a synagog.

Jessica Roemischer and Pam Parsons Dupuy - Piano Improvisation |
This piano improvisation took place in a music improvisation class conducted by Jessica Roemischer at the Integral Spiritual Experience Conference, January 2009. Pam Pam Parsons is performing her first duet with Jessica. At the beginning of the video, you'll hear the instructions Jessica give her--these are the guideline given to most people when they improvise with Jessica for the first time. As you'll see, Pam comes forth with music that is inspirational and beautifully melodic!
Over the course of thirty years, Jessica Roemischer improvised with hundreds of individuals on four continents—individuals ranging in age from 18 months to 85 years, as well as those with a variety of developmental disabilities, including blindness and autism. Without fail, each person who has ever sat with her at the piano has created music of disarming freedom and originality. The conclusion is significant: that beauty is inherent to us all regardless of age, culture or background, and its expression is unfettered by any limitation. It is becoming clear that everyone, in essence, is creative and beautiful. This is the powerful and catalytic message Jessica Roemischer endeavoring to bring to the world.
